Other/ Honoring Ceremonies/ In commemoration if its 64th anniversary since its foundation Dar Al Ajaza Al Islamiya gather the Embassies in Lebanon
After the Lebanese national anthem, the Chairman of the Board of Trustee Dr. Mahmoud Faour welcomed the guests, affirming that: "The Association is an independent non-profit association that does not know intolerance nor discrimination in anyway whatsoever."
He added: "Since 64 years the Hospital has provided the treatment and care for more than 50,000 inpatients and 180,000 out patients from all ages including children and it graduated more than 12,000 medical students”, showing a documentary about the achievements of the Association.
He continued thanking "Al Waleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation” for its valuable support and for covering many humanitarian projects held by the Association over the past years.
From another side, the speech of the sponsor, Ms. Lama Tamam Salam was exceptional. She emphasized on that the Association never reached the retirement age of 64 and it will never reach it, as this Association will never get old. She added: "This institution will remain young as long as people will need its support, as long as elderly people will need its care and attention and as long as there will be Good in this world."
Then the Association Marketing and Fundraising Consultant, Ms. Heba El Shaar pronounced her speech where she thanked in her turn "Al-Waleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation" and the audience for sharing the joy of celebrating the 64 years of the Association,filled with hard work, dedication and continued success. She also thanked all those who contributed to the success of this event through supporting the Association, including: LGB Bank, BLOM Bank, Bank Med,Fransabank, Byblos Bank and Dubai World Travel.
An artistic show was performed during the dinner by the artist and pianist Aleph and the 8e Art band.
It is worth mentioning that the dinner entire revenues went to support the work of the Association Dar El Ajaza Al Islamiya in providing medical care and nursing for 600 patients from the elderly and all ages. It included also an auction on a number of valuable items with Mr. Luay Maghrabi, in addition to a Tombola pull on valuable prizes.
